Sometimes all it takes is one leader who knows how to listen properly, ask the right question, and actually hear what’s not being said.
Early on, I thought leadership was about strategy and speed. But the real breakdowns came from conversations gone sideways. Things didn’t stall because people didn’t care they stalled because they didn’t fully understand each other.
10 years ago, I closed a $2 million deal by hearing what the customer couldn’t say out loud. That moment changed everything. I saw how often we miss what really matters. Be it in meetings, in teams, even with ourselves. It pulled me into coaching, and into deep study of how humans communicate, lead, and break patterns.
